SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Otgonbayar Batsuuri came through to win the national title at 174 pounds and helped propel Nebraska-Kearney to the team title at the 2026 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Batsuuri, a two-time NJCAA national champion, topped Central Oklahoma's Hunter Jump 7-4 in the finals at 174 pounds. Jump had won the two previous meetings this season, with the most recent win coming by pin.

His finals victory clinched the team title for UNK in an extremely competitive team race. The top four teams were separated by just seven points.

The Lopers finished with 83 points on the strength of seven All-Americans, three national finalists and a national champion. UW-Parkside finished runner-up with 78 points. McKendree was third with 78.5 points, while Central Oklahoma (76) and Lander (64.5) rounded out the top five.

Central Oklahoma's Gabe Johnson and Lander's David Hunsberger (165) became three-time national champions.

Johnson edged St. Cloud State's Joel Jesuroga 2-2 in tiebreaker in a rematch of last year's national final at 157 pounds.

Hunsberger won his third national title at 165 pounds with a 9-4 victory over UNK's Trenton Munoz.

UW-Parkside crowned a national champion at 125 pounds, Shane Corrigan, and finished with five All-Americans.

Corrigan, a four-time All-American, rolled to a 13-4 major decision in the finals over No. 2 Anthony Aniciete of Tiffin.

A pair of McKendree wrestlers won national titles, Ronan Schuelke (141) and Darion Johnson (184).

Schuelke, who entered the NCAAs ranked No. 10 by The Open Mat, won his title with a 5-2 victory in tiebreaker over Khyvon Grace of West Liberty.

Johnson won his national championship at 184 pounds with a dominant performance in the finals, winning by technical fall (17-2) over Central Missouri's Damon Ashworth. It was Johnson's second win over Ashworth in less than three weeks.

True freshman Jacob Strausbaugh of UMary won the national title at 133 pounds with a 5-3 victory over James Joplin of Lander.

Augustana's Max Ramberg claimed the national title at 197 pounds in his home arena, beating No. 2 Nick Johnson of Glenville State 4-2 in the finals. The victory capped off an undefeated season for the three-time All-American Ramberg.

Cody Thompson of Colorado School of Mines won the national championship at 149 pound after finishing runner-up two seasons ago. He blanked Matt Sarbo of Pitt-Johnstown 5-0 in the finals.

Gannon's Dorian Crosby lived up to his No. 1 ranking and secured the national title at 285 pounds, finishing his season undefeated after placing third a year ago. Crosby started his college wrestling career at Bucknell, where he was a two-time NCAA Division I national qualifier.
